rehabilitation of an urban single family house.
the existing building had several walls in bad condition, which had to be demolished. in this proposal it was established to keep the existing boundaries and make deep interior alterations through changes of the main roof, improving the connections between the various floors and spaces. although the exterior kept most of its traditional language, with few changes in the boundaries, the new organization sought to meet a more contemporary way of living, with bright open spaces and taking advantage of the stunning view to pico mountain and the ocean.
