rehabilitation and expansion of a 1920's ruin incorporating bioclimatic strategies such as solar protection and cross ventilation.
given the notable features of the existing building, it was decided to maintain the same formal characteristics while the expansion has a contemporary image.
in the existing building were placed an office, a bathroom, a dining room and the kitchen, while the living room and main room were placed in the new body which has a half level difference from the rest, connected exclusively by the stairs.
in front of the living room there is a small garden which is about 1,5m higher than the street so that the users can enjoy it with total privacy.
