competition for the recovery of flamengo’s parish church after being partially destroyed by the 1998 hearthquake.
this proposal seeks to maintain much of the original buildings, replacing only the body of the assembly. the new body has a clearance of 5 m of the original façade, serving the same as a scenario. also proposed was the building of a new body near the entrance for the celebration of mass when the audience has few people.
several strategies of bioclimatic architecture were applied in this proposal.
